The best part? You don’t need a complicated plan to enjoy it. Some of the best meals happen when you keep things simple, stay nearby, and follow a few local favorites.
We’re sharing where to eat in St. Pete Beach, along with a few spots we personally love. You’ll find easy breakfast stops, laid-back lunches, and dinner places worth planning your evening around.
Let’s map out your meals so you can spend less time deciding and more time enjoying every bite.
How To Plan Your Meals Like A Local
Meals here are part of the fun, and there’s no shortage of good places to choose from. We’re close to so many great spots, many within walking distance, so grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner always feels easy.
We usually recommend keeping breakfast and lunch flexible, then choosing one dinner spot you’re really excited about. That gives you time for a leisurely beach morning, an easy midday bite, and a meal later that feels like part of the evening.
Breakfast And Coffee Worth Waking Up For
Vacation mornings are meant to be slow, and a good breakfast spot makes them even better. There are a few great options nearby, so it’s easy to grab something before heading over to Upham Beach, just a 3-minute walk away. Below are a few of our favorite morning spots.
La Casa Del Pane Italian Bakery & Café
La Casa Del Pane is one of our all-time favorite spots, and it’s only about a 1-minute walk from The Lofts! This place is the real deal for cappuccinos, breakfast, and incredible, authentic Italian pastries. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to visit more than once during your stay. When you stop in, let Anna (the owner) know Matthew and Marcella sent you; she’ll give you the VIP treatment!
La Croisette
La Croisette is a great choice when you want a sit-down breakfast with a little more character. It’s an award-winning breakfast and brunch spot on Gulf Boulevard, known for classic American breakfast with a French twist, including croissant sandwiches and crêpes. They serve breakfast and brunch daily, so it’s an easy stop before the beach or on a slower morning.
Grove Surf & Coffee
Grove Surf & Coffee is perfect when coffee and something light sound best. It’s an easy grab-and-go option that fits right into a beach morning, especially when you want to get out on the sand early.
A good breakfast sets the tone for the day, and these spots make it easy to start things off right.

Easy Lunch Spots In St. Pete
Lunch here is best when it’s easy, close by, and fits naturally into the rest of your day. After a beach morning, these are a few of the places we love recommending most to our guests.
The Toasted Monkey Rooftop Bar
The Toasted Monkey is one of our favorite places to kick off a stay, and it also makes a great lunch stop! It’s only a 3-minute walk from The Lofts, and the rooftop bar has a fun, easygoing atmosphere with music and great views of the boats moving through Blind Pass.
Grab a drink, split an appetizer, or settle in for lunch, and let the vacation feeling take over a little. It’s one of those spots that helps you slow down right away.
Jimmy B’s Sunset Grille
Jimmy B’s is one of our favorite St. Pete Beach restaurants, and the fun part is that you can get there by the beach! It’s about a half-mile walk south from Upham Beach Park, and walking there along the beach is part of the experience.
You can grab lunch or a cocktail, settle in, and usually catch some live music since they offer daily entertainment. It’s a good pick when you want to keep the beach-day feeling going a little longer.
Sculley’s at John’s Pass
Sculley’s at John’s Pass in Madeira Beach is a great pick when you want lunch to turn into a full afternoon out. It’s about an 8-minute drive from The Lofts, and the whole area is lined with shops, bars, restaurants, and local breweries along the water. We recommend grabbing a waterside table at Sculley’s, then taking your time wandering around after lunch.

Favorite Dinner Spots In St. Pete
Dinner is where the day gets to slow down a little. After time at the beach, it’s nice to settle in somewhere with good food, a relaxed setting, and no reason to rush.
Here are a few dinner spots we love recommending:
Bouy’s Waterfront Bar & Grill
Bouy’s is one of our favorite restaurants in St. Pete Beach, and it’s only a 3-minute walk from us. The setting is laid-back and right on the water, with fresh in-house seafood and a scratch kitchen. We always recommend grabbing a high top by the water if you can.
It’s a great place to watch the boats go by, and dolphins sometimes swim past just feet from your table. They also have great burgers and other options if seafood isn’t what you’re after.
Sunset Kitchen & Drinks
Sunset Kitchen is another one of our favorite spots, and a great choice when you want a homegrown feel. It’s less than a mile from us, and the hospitality really stands out here.
Ask for Justin, the owner, and let him know Matthew and Marcella from The Lofts sent you. You’ll even get 10% off — which makes a good dinner even better!
Rick’s Reef
Rick’s Reef is one of those places that stays on our list because it’s always solid. The atmosphere is casual, the food is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. The Baja fish tacos are especially good, and they’re even better with the hand-cut fries or homemade onion rings.
These are the kinds of dinner spots that make it easy to end the day well, with good food, a good atmosphere, and a little more time to enjoy the evening.
